My yard in all it's glory! Ha Ha!

I have been struggling for 4 years to get my yard to start looking half way decent, it's getting there slowly. I usually start some project in my yard and only get half way finished because I can't afford the flowers or I can't figure out what to plant. In this picture I bought a few calla lilies because they were on sale. I didn't get them planted till the next day. I thought they turned out well, now it just needs a few more colorful flowers.
I went to mom and dads about 2 weeks ago borrowed moms mini tiller and brought it home to till up my dirt on the side of my drive way and my old garden area so I could get rid of the weeds for a day or two . Well so far I have tilled up, leveled to the best of my abilities, and planted grass in the area by the driveway. It was almost a week after I planted the grass, it was starting to come up. I was so excited. I have several pictures of my yard and plants.

My honeysuckle. My rhubarb and strawberries.

Here is the one and only squash, zuccini, or cucumber plant that survived. A lilac that I got from grandma when we moved into our house the following summer, off of her lilac in her yard. I think it should be bigger than it is after 4 years. But oh well.

This is my old garden spot that I still need to till.

Where the kids have lived for 3 nights. Its getting moved to a new location.

The front view of my house. Its not very pretty

And this is the ugliest mailbox around. It needs help. Anyone have any tips on how to make it look better and prettier? If so let me know.

Nikki, instead of pulling up and trashing all of those baby plants of mine that keep showing up, I am going to pot them up for you and bring them down to you!
Things are looking good! I love the vine!
